SERMON TITLE: RENEWAL OF THE MIND
TEXT:ROMANS 12:2
INTRO
-As we approach the end of 2024 and prepare to enter in 2025.As usual we are having high expectations.
-The Lord has been speaking to my heart heavily and that is what I want us to share in few minutes.
-We MUST accept the RENEWAL OF OUR MINDS
Let me define the two important words from my message today
Renewal:- To be made New
-To make some changes
– To do some adjustments
– To refurbish
MIND:- From biblical perspective
It is a center of – thoughts
– Feelings
– Reasonings
– Decision making
I have no time to go into details but let me remind you that Brain and Mind are closely related but they are NOT the same thing.
#The Brain is the physical structure that facilitates the activities of the body
– It can be seen thru scans,MRI etc.
#Mind is the invisible essence of thoughts, consciousness and emotions.
-it is a reflection of one’s inner being used to engage spiritually
OUR MIND THEN PLAYS A BIG ROLE IN OUR LIVES BOTH SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
#Now being the center of thoughts,feelings, Reasonings and decision makings
-It becomes clear the THAT YOUR MIND IS THE STARTING POINT OF POSSIBILITIES OR IMPOSSIBILITIES in your life
-Whatever that we have allowed to galvanize our minds determines the out come of 2025
-For many past years,some of us have become static – No change,progres in our lives at all.
-If we want to experience change in 2025,then we MUST allow transformation through the renewal of of our mind.
Let me show you 3 things that the devil always uses to colonize our minds.
1.FEAR- worries, anxieties
2.DOUBTS – No faith at all
3.DISCOURAGEMENTS

- By Allowing the mind of Christ to control us

- By holding on God’s promises
3.By controlling and guarding what our Minds feeds on
