BIBLE STUDY

TOPIC:- STEWARDSHIP

TEXT:-  1 Corinthians 4:2:

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” (NKJV)

A Steward is:-

Someone who is entrusted with managing, taking care of, or overseeing something that belongs to someone else.

This can include resources, responsibilities, or duties, and a steward is expected to handle them with care, accountability, and integrity.

Stewardship is a biblical principle emphasizing our responsibility to manage what God has entrusted to us.

  1. God Owns Everything

Stewardship begins with the understanding that God is the ultimate owner of all things. We are entrusted as managers, not proprietors.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1).

  1. We Are Stewards, Not Owners

“You are not your own; you were bought at a price” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

WE ARE STEWARDS OF:-

-Lives

-Time

-Resources

-Talents/ Gifts

-God’s creations-Environment( vegetation,animals ,etc)
